Support & FAQs
Any questions?We've got you covered.
Find quick answers to common questions about Mateflow's capabilities, pricing, and how we help communities scale operations.
Is Mateflow for creators or for businesses?+
Both. Mateflow is an AI-native community platform designed for creators building membership businesses, brands running customer communities, and education teams managing cohort programs. The platform scales from solo creators to enterprise teams.
Can I run a branded community on my own domain?+
Yes. Start on a hosted subdomain, then connect your own custom domain through the Creator Dashboard. Custom domains are included on every plan. Your members see your brand, not ours.
Can I run live video sessions inside my community?+
Yes. Live video rooms, audio rooms and webinars run in the browser and in the iOS and Android apps — there is no meeting client to install and no third-party link to hand out. A session belongs to a space and inherits that space's access rules, so a members-only space keeps its sessions, and their replays, members-only. If you record, everyone is asked to agree first and the finished replay is published back into your community on your own domain.
Does Mateflow support monetization and memberships?+
Yes. Subscription plans, gated spaces, Stripe payments, and revenue analytics are there when your community sells access — and stay out of the way when it doesn't. Mateflow's platform fee drops as you grow: 3% on Starter, 2% on Growth, 1% on Business, 0% on Enterprise. Stripe charges its own payment processing fee separately.
Is there a creator dashboard separate from community admin?+
Yes. The Creator Dashboard is your platform-level workspace for managing communities, plans, billing, launch progress, and developer access. Community Admin is where you handle day-to-day operations for each individual community.

Guides
Guides for building and running your community

How to Run a Community Across Time Zones
A community spread across time zones does not have an events problem, it has a rush hour — and the expensive part is the feed, not the calls. Why rotating the call time usually makes it worse, why a recording is not attendance, and why density beats reach.

Why Members Leave Your Community (and How to Find Out)
Almost nobody leaves a community — they stop arriving, which produces no record of itself, so most exit-survey advice does not transfer. The four ways people actually go, why the reason they give is rarely the reason, and how to ask someone who faded.

How to Make Your Online Community Accessible (2026)
Most of what excludes people is not built into the platform — it is created daily by the people posting. The four barriers that account for most of it, how to write alt text that is actually useful, why the recording is an accessibility feature, and the norms that outlast any setting.
