Yes. Start on a hosted subdomain, then connect your own custom domain through the Creator Portal. Custom domains are included on every plan. Your members see your brand, not ours.
Yes. Use subscription plans, gated spaces, Stripe payments, and revenue analytics to turn your community into a real business. Transaction fees drop as you grow: 3% on Starter, 2% on Growth, 1% on Business, 0% on Enterprise.
Yes. The Creator Portal is your platform-level workspace for managing sites, plans, billing, launch progress, and developer access. Site Admin is where you handle day-to-day operations for each individual community site.

Yes. The Free and Starter plans are designed for solo creators and small teams validating a community idea. You can launch, invite members, and accept payments on your own. Add team roles and deeper tooling when you are ready to grow.
Custom domains are included on every plan. Advanced analytics and Knowledge Base with AI indexing are available on the Growth plan and above, along with API access. Business adds custom CSS and white-label for deeper branding and integration control.
All paid plans support memberships, gated spaces, and Stripe payments. The difference is the platform transaction fee: 3% on Starter, 2% on Growth, 1% on Business, and 0% on Enterprise. If you expect meaningful revenue, a higher tier pays for itself through lower fees.
Upgrade when you need capabilities your current plan does not include, such as SSO, API access, or lower transaction fees. You do not need to replatform. Upgrades take effect immediately with pro-rated billing, and downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
Transaction fees apply only when you monetize your community (charge members for subscriptions or gated content). The platform fee decreases as you upgrade: 3% on Starter, 2% on Growth, 1% on Business, and 0% on Enterprise. Standard Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) apply separately.
Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with full Growth-tier features and no credit card required. When you are ready, upgrade or switch tiers without rebuilding your site.
No mandatory setup fee and no required onboarding package for self-serve plans. If you need procurement support, migration guidance, SLA terms, or custom rollout help, that is handled through Enterprise.
Yes. Our Migration Program gives switching customers a 30-day extended trial, 50% off the first 3 months on an annual Growth or Business plan, and a 12-month price lock so your subscription cost stays predictable. Growth and Business customers also get hands-on migration assistance for members, content, and custom domains. Visit the Migration page for the full program details and to start a switch.
When you switch from another community platform and join Mateflow through the Migration Program, the price you sign up at stays the same for 12 months β even if our published prices change. The lock applies to your chosen plan tier and billing cadence, and renews at the then-current price afterward.
