Space settings, reorganised
A single column of up to thirteen tabs is now grouped by task and shaped by the kind of space you are in — a course opens on its curriculum, a feed on its setup. Basics and branding are one page, features have their own, and every section is shown based on what you can actually do, so moderators finally reach the chat and course panels they are responsible for. Chat Settings, which never did anything, is gone.
Media, one link away
Opening an image or video in a media space now changes the URL, so the back button works and the view can be shared. Up and down move between posts and load more as you go, comments open in place, and sensitive content is blurred in grids and galleries, not only in the post.
Moderation that says why
Hiding a post or closing its comments now takes a reason, and that reason is what the author reads. Authors see a notice on their own hidden post explaining why they cannot edit it. Lock is now Close comments, and a bulk action that partly fails lists exactly which posts were refused.
Live sessions
When a host ends a session for everyone, viewers land on an ended screen rather than an error with a retry button. If your remaining monthly allowance is smaller than the room you asked for, the seats and the length you actually got are explained up front, and trial limits are labelled as trial limits rather than as your plan’s.
Also in this release
- Points rules follow a live action catalogue — editable daily caps, unavailable actions marked, reversals shown as reversals.
- Streak milestones arrive as notifications on web and mobile.
- Courses stays out of the menu until your community has one, so members never land on an empty page.
- Android: start-up crashes fixed, and twelve forms no longer hide their fields behind the keyboard.
- Mentions of accounts that do not exist are plain text again, and scrollbars appear in the dialogs that were quietly clipping content.
