Live is its own place now
Going live used to be a setting on an event. It is now its own thing: a session belongs to a Space, it has its own chat and its own replay, and it has a Live entry in the main menu — no more hunting the calendar for a LIVE badge. The watch page fills the screen, with chat in a rail you can collapse.
Three ways to go live
Pick an interactive video room, an interactive audio room, or a webinar. Rooms open backstage: nothing is announced and nobody can join until you press Start for everyone, so you can set up in private first. Scheduled sessions can still be edited afterwards — title, cover, start time.
Webinars
A webinar is a room with a stage. A few people present; everyone else watches, without a camera or microphone in the way. Members raise a hand, the host works through a queue and invites them up — and an invitation asks before it opens anyone's camera. Hand-raising closes for the talk and opens again for questions.
Hosting a room
Spotlight someone for everyone, share your screen and watch a share fullscreen, switch microphone, camera or speakers without leaving, search a long participant list, mute everyone at once, and react with an emoji — the one thing a webinar audience can always do. Hosts can block someone for the session, then find that list again afterwards and unblock them.
Replays
Recorded rooms can be watched after they end, and members are notified when a replay is ready.
