Price and fees
Mighty wins at the door. Its Launch plan costs less than our Growth plan, which is the tier you would actually compare it with, and its platform fee is lower than ours at every tier except Enterprise, where ours is 0%. If you don't need an API, custom CSS or deep admin tooling, Mighty is the lower bill.

Ownership and branding
Both platforms put your community on your own domain on every plan, so that alone doesn't separate them. Mateflow adds custom CSS from Growth and removes its own branding on Business, and you can export your members and content whenever you want. Mighty's standout is mobile: native apps on every plan, and fully branded apps under your own name through Mighty Pro. Mateflow's apps are live on the App Store and Google Play, but under the Mateflow name; white-label apps are still on the roadmap.
Running the community
This is where Mateflow leans in. Every plan includes a moderation queue, auto-mod rules and analytics dashboards; audit logs and content approval join on Business. Mighty covers day-to-day community management well, with less depth in the operational tooling behind it. The gap matters most once more than one person is running the community.
Courses, structure and live sessions
Mighty has deep roots in course-led communities and a mature course builder, and that is a real strength. Mateflow offers spaces with feed, collection and chat layouts, native courses and events, and real-time DMs, with group chat from Growth. Both run live sessions: on Mateflow that means video and audio rooms in the browser on every plan, webinars from Growth, and the replay published back to the space.
AI
Both platforms have AI. The difference is what it draws on: Mateflow's copilot answers members from your community's own posts and the documents you add to its knowledge base, and it also helps with moderation. Mighty's AI features are less tied to your community's content. It is a useful difference, but for most teams choosing between these two it is not the deciding one.
